Creating a payment or deposit with your Dojo integration couldn't be simpler through Aerona. Please follow the steps below to get started:
1. Ensure your Dojo card reader is turned on and activated for transactions.
2. Navigate to the Patient section of Aerona > Click 'Payment' if you want to pay an outstanding balance, or 'Deposit' > Update the 'Method' dropdown to 'Dojo Terminal' and add a note if applicable > Hit 'Select Terminal'. A new window should appear to select the desired terminal.
3. At this stage, the pop-up will prompt the user to pass the card reader to the patient for payment, if the Dojo terminal is detected successfully. The example below shows a contactless payment before processing. If there is only 1 terminal it will use that by default and not show the terminal select.
If you are met with a 'There are currently no terminals available please power on a terminal' message, please check Dojo has passed on the correct configuration details and we can review further.
4. The status should update to 'Connecting' and then 'Connection Made'. Please see below:
5. The 'Transaction approved' message will appear to confirm payment.
Under 'Recent Payments', you will notice the Dojo Terminal Payment / Dojo ID showing. This indicates your Dojo payment has gone through successfully on Aerona.
Admins can also edit the name of a terminal to allow for easier identification when working with multiple terminals, this is done by pressing the edit button at the top after selecting the terminal.
After this, simply enter the desired name and click the submit button.
If working with multiple terminals, admin users can set a default terminal that applies to the computer (not the practice or user). This is done by clicking the star icon after selecting the terminal:
When the default terminal is available, it will be auto-selected for all transactions on that computer, if you wish to see the terminal select you can click the back to terminal select button.
