A Treatment plan can be constructed by following the below steps:
Go to 'Treatment' > Select 'Treatments' > Select + to add a new Treatment Plan. See below:
Once you have added the plan you can then change the name of the plan and add a comment that is specific to the treatment plan by selecting the pencil. See below:
Updating the plan name is extremely useful for referencing and for reporting purposes. Having a plan name is also very functional on occasions when a patient has multiple plans. The names categorised in this way can prove useful if looking to locate a plan at a glance. Having a comment that is specific to the treatment plan is also very useful as you can add a unique comment in relation to the treatment or the payment options for the plan.
Once you have edited the treatment plan name and have added a comment, you can easily add treatments by selecting a treatment from the treatment categories/menu groups located just above the charting. See below:
Once you have selected the menu group, simply select the treatment you would like to add. See below:
Treatments that contain a icon are chartable and this means to add this treatment to the treatment plan you must first chart the treatment item on the chart. See below example:
Chartable treatments can be easily added to the outer rows of the dental charting. See below:
Once the treatments have been added then they will appear on the treatment plan. See below:
You will then be able to view, email and print the treatment plan by selecting 'Treatment Plan' located beside the treatment. See below:
