There are different ways in which you can delete an insurance item depending on the status of the claim attached to the insurance item.
The steps below showcase the ways in which you can delete the treatments depending on the status of the claim.
Claims in the 'Pending' state.
For claims in the pending state you can delete the treatment via the 'treatment' section. If the treatment was completed on the same day you can also revert the status of the treatment back to planned. See below:
Claims that have been 'Sent to Insurer'.
For Claims that have been sent to insurer you will have to follow the below steps to delete the claim.
Go to 'Claims' Section > Select 'Mark as Paid' > Select Any Payment from the drop down box > Select Pencil beside the claim you would like to cancel. See below:
Once you have selected the pencil, simply amend the amount recieved to 0 and select 'save'. This will then update the cancelled amount. See below:
Select the save button to continue.
After you have selected save you will then need to select the check box and the save button again to confirm you would like to proceed with cancelling the claim. See below:
Once you have selected 'save' you will then be able to delete the treatment item via the 'Treatment' section or the 'Purchases' section. See below:
Claims in the Paid State.
For claims that are currently in the paid state you will need to contact our support team by sending us a ticket or an email to ask to have the claim reverted to either one of the claim statuses mentioned above (pending or sent to insurer). Once we have reverted the claim status, you will then be able to delete the treatment by following the steps mentioned above.
