Step 1 - If you want the appointment bookings made on-site to be available for all clinicians and the Online Appointment to be specific to one user, you will need to keep this appointment separate from the online appointment which will be limited to one clinician. (You can skip this step if you want the one clinician to only be available regardless if the appointment was booked online or on-site).
This can be done by going to 'Admin' > 'Appointment' > 'Appointment Types' > Selecting the existing appointment > selecting the pencil > untick show in portal > save. See below example:
You will then need to create another appointment type for this appointment type e.g. in this example video consultation which will be used for the patient portal bookings. This can be done by following the steps in the below article:
How To Add An Appointment Type
You may want to change the name of the appointment slightly to help you differentiate between the online booking appointment and the onsite appointment. For this appointment you will want to check the 'Show in Portal' option.
Step 2 - Once the online appointment has been created. You can then limit this appointment to a single clinician. This can be done by following the steps in the below article:
How to Edit User Appointment Types
You will want to un-tick the online appointment from all the users that will not be taking the appointment and leave it checked for the user that will be taking this appointment.
Once this has been un-ticked for all the other users the appointment will only be available for that certain clinician.
