A merge will allow you to combine all data such as clinical, financial, and appointment history for duplicate patients.
A merge can be completed by following the below steps.
Go to 'Admin' > 'Practice' > 'Merge Patient'. See below:
You will then need to enter the Master ID and the Duplicate ID:
- Master ID: This is the ID you want to keep. This will retain all the patient details such as contact information, care plan, etc.
- Duplicate ID: This is the ID that will be merged and then deleted.
It is very important to preview both patient record's at this stage to ensure that they are 100% duplicates as once the merge has been completed there is no way of reverting this. Once you are happy to proceed with the merge simply select confirm.
You will be asked to enter the practice pin to confirm.
Please Note: The patient details information such as address and email will only be retained from the master ID.
