Patients can make deposits prior to having a treatment completed. This can be very common for high-value treatments such as implants or Invisalign treatments.
A deposit can be added to Aerona by following the below steps:
Go to 'Patient' > 'Financial' > 'Overview'. (See below)
To take a deposit simply select the 'deposit' option located just about the recent payments for the patient. (See below)
After you have selected this section, a dialog box will appear. (See below)
To add the deposit simply enter the payment date, the method, the amount and a note if applicable. Simply select 'save' and this will add the deposit to the patient's account.
Within the patient's 'overview' screen you will now see that the patient appears in credit you will also see that there is an allocation button beside the deposit. See below:
This is because this deposit is now an un-allocated deposit. Once the patient's treatment has been completed you will then be able to allocate this unallocated deposit to an outstanding treatment. To find out more information on how to allocate un-allocated deposits to treatments select here
