A patient can be added by following the below steps.
Go to the 'Appointment' section > 'Add Patient'. See below:
Once you have selected 'Add Patient' the below dialog box will appear. You will then need to insert the patient's personal information. The Forename, Surname, and Date of Birth fields contact asterisks which symbolize that these fields are required and you, therefore, cannot proceed without this information. See below:
Once you have entered the information, simply select 'Next'. You will then have the option of adding in the patient's contact information such as their address, email address and mobile number. You will also have the option of selecting the patient's communication/marketing preferences and if they have consented to the GDPR form. See below:
Simply select 'Next' and this will direct you to the 'details' section. Within the 'details' section you can then add in any additional information that you may know regarding the patient. Obtaining the information from this section such as the patient category, source, and preferred clinician, for example, can be very useful for communicating with patients and for marketing purposes. Having information such as the referrer in and out, gender and status are also very useful for reporting.
Within this section, you will also be able to add in the patient alerts. This will allow the clinician to be instantly aware that this patient has an alert beside their name. Simply select 'next' to proceed to the next section.
The next section is the care plans. To add in any care plans that the patient has simply select the care plan from the drop-down facility and select 'Add details'. Simply add in the required information and select 'next' to proceed to the next section.
The final section is 'relationships' within this section you can add in any relationships that this patient may have with other members of the practice. To add a relationship simply select 'create new'. See below:
You will then be able to select the patient, the relationship type they have with that patient and you can create a reverse relationship by selecting the check box. To save simply select 'save'. See below:
Finally, to confirm, you will need to select 'save' again. Once you have selected 'save' the patient's details will populate above the appointment book and therefore their chart will be created. See below:
