Recalls can be sent out manually by following the below steps:
Step 1 - Creating the Communication Template
Create your SMS and/or Email/Document template. This can be done by following the steps provided in the below articles:

Step 2 - Displaying The Recalls Report
The next step is to run the 'Recalls Report' this report can be accessed via the 'Reports' section under 'Patient' >'Recalls Report'. You will then need to enter the parameters such as the recall type and the dates that you would like to display recalls for. For the below example, this will return all patients that are due a recall for August with a General Dentist. (I.e patients that were seen in February if the recall duration is set at 6 months and patients seen the previous August if the recall duration is set at 12 months).

At this stage, you can further filter the report for example by appointment type by using the +/- option.
Step 3 - Communicating with the patients on the report.
The last step is communicating with the patients. To communicate with the patients on the report simply select the that appears directly above the results located beside the print icon. This will then populate the below screen. Simply select the type of communication that you would like to send, and the template using the drop-down facility. To send simply select the icon again, preview the templates and once you are happy simply select 'send'.
