This article will provide the steps for adding or editing notes linked to patient portal appointments. This feature is useful for populating additional information associated with your patient portal appointments such as promotional information, deposit terms, or additional details about the appointment itself.
To add or edit a note linked to a patient portal appointment, simply navigate to the Admin Section > Appointment > Appointment Types > Select to highlight the Appointment you'd like to edit >Select the Edit appointment Icon . The Edit appointment dialogue will appear allowing you to add or edit the portal note associated with this appointment. See below:
Simply update the note field with the details you'd like to display when the patient selects this appointment on the patient portal. Select 'Save' to apply changes.
When the patient selects to book this appointment on the patient portal, the associated portal note will display. See below:
NB: There is a character limit of 250 for the portal note
