This article has been created to provide the steps on how to update the SMS Sender Name that your patients see when they receive SMS communications from the practice.
Users with level 3 access or above will have the ability to update the SMS Sender Name. To update the SMS Sender Name, go to the Communication Section > Setup > SMS Sender Name (Sender name is limited to 11 characters). See below:
When the Sender Name field has been updated, select Save in the bottom right-hand corner to apply changes.
Patients will see the updated name going forward when they receive SMS communications from the practice.
NB: Sender Name is not available for customers who have Inbound SMS and Keywords enabled.
