Charting+ is a new charting system in AeronaDental.
The purpose of Charting + is to make charting teeth a quicker and more efficient process whilst providing a much more pleasing aesthetic. Below is an example of a basic chart in Baseline mode from Charting +:
Charting + Divisions
Charting + is split into 3 parts for each tooth. These are:
- the Root
- the Crown
- the Surfaces
All of this allows for much more information to be visible at once.
In the original Aerona charting i.e. Classic Charting, if a tooth had a root canal, a filling and a whitening, this would be displayed all within the same space.
Fortunately, Charting + allows for these to be separated, allowing room for these to be added.
In addition to the above, Charting+ also automatically hides any conflicting treatments. For instance:
- If decay is charted on a tooth, followed by a filling, the decay will be moved to historical
- If a tooth is extracted, then almost everything is changed to historical
- If a tooth is extracted and then an implant is installed, the extraction is now historical
New features:
- It is now possible to chart by clicking the tooth first rather than the treatment - See the full article on How to Add Treatments
-
Charting + can now undo treatments, add favourite items, manually hide treatments and select mouth starting points - See full article on new features for details New Features
- Supernumerary teeth can now be charted - See the full article on Supernumerary Teeth
- Deciduous and permanent teeth are now presented on the same chart - See full article on Deciduous Teeth
- It is now possible to add handwritten annotations to the chart - See full article on Annotations
