Overview
Communication Tags in Aerona allow you to personalise and automate messages, by inserting dynamic information into SMS, Email and Document templates.
These tags automatically pull data from the system, such as patient details, appointment information, and recall data.
Using tags ensures that communications are personalised and tailored to each patient without needing manual edits.

How Tags Work:
Across both SMS and Email/Document Templates, you can access a range of tags that pull through different types of information from the system.
This includes patient information, such as name, contact details, care plan, and any outstanding balance, helping you personalise communications quickly and accurately.
You can also include appointment-related information, such as upcoming appointment details (e.g. appointment type, time, status, recall information, and clinician). In addition, tags can reference previous appointments, or the currently selected appointment, depending on the context of the message.
