Dual Appointment Types enable patients to book a combined appointment slot made up of two different appointment types. This is ideal for cases where multiple appointments are required during a single visit. These can be booked directly through the Patient Portal.
They can be viewed by navigating to 'Admin' > 'Appointment' > 'Dual Appointment Types'. See below:
To add a dual appointment type:
Simply click on the icon highlighted below:
The below screen will then appear. Simply add in the details of your appointment type, ensure that the box next to 'Enabled' is ticked, and select 'Save' to add your new Dual Appointment Type.
To Edit an Existing Dual Appointment Type:
Navigate to 'Admin' > 'Appointment' > 'Dual Appointment Types' > Select the appointment type you'd like to edit > . See below:
You will then have the option to change the details of your dual appointment type, or disable it by unticking the box next to 'Enabled'. See below:
Select 'Save' to update your changes.

Dual Appointment Types can be booked directly by patients on the Patient Portal.
By selecting the appropriate appointment type:
Selecting the suitable times for the appointments, and confirming the details.
Once confirmed, the appointments will then appear in the diary as below:
