Appointment Level Recalls (Setting the recall type at an appointment type level)
Recalls can now be set at the appointment type level instead of being tied to clinician types, as they were before.
By default, all appointment types in the system will still appear with the user's recall type, just as they currently do. However, you'll now have the flexibility to adjust the recall type for each individual appointment type. For example, for hygiene appointments, you can set the recall type to Hygienist. This ensures that, regardless of which user completes the appointment, it will always follow the hygienist recall.
The recall type for appointment types can be updated via the 'Admin' section > 'Appointment' > 'Appointment Types'. See below:

Appointment Level Recalls (Setting the recall type at an appointment level)
In the appointment book, appointments will display based on the recall type set at the appointment type level by default. However, you can also adjust the recall type at the appointment level for each individual patient. This can be done by editing the appointment in the appointment book (see example below).
When you run the recalls report, it will now display based on the recall type selected at the appointment level.
Dual Appointment Types for Examination & Hygiene Visits
To handle appointment types like Examination & Hygiene Visit, you can now create Dual Appointment Types via the 'Admin' section > 'Appointment' > 'Dual Appointment Types'. When creating a dual appointment type, you’ll specify the two individual appointment types that will be completed during that appointment.

Once the dual appointment type is created, it will show up on the user’s appointment list (see below). When this is selected, it will book both individual appointment types in the appointment book. The patient will then be recalled based on the recall type assigned to each individual appointment type. See below:
Next Recall Date Display
For added convenience, we’ve also included the next recall date for all patients, which can be viewed directly from the appointment list (see example below).
