Firstly, you must ensure that a patient is chosen within the Appointment section and an actual appointment time has also been scheduled in the diary.
This is followed by navigating to the Patient section > Audit > Medical History
The user will be presented with an overview of all the Medical Histories for this patient, which can be filtered by elements such date, user and of course the appointment date (see screenshot below)
Furthermore, you can filter to an appointment date and time, and look to see if it has been viewed, edited or even signed (see screenshot below)
This section allows us to track Medical History forms that have been:
1. Viewed
2. Signed
3. Updated
4. Printed
5. Downloaded
In addition, the above variables can be tracked against the specific time in which the patient carried out these activities on the Patient Portal and Practice Portal, and for the AeronaDental user on the application.
NB: This is also useful to identify if changes were made later within the Patient Portal or perhaps on the day of their appointment.
All of this ensures that the risk of a patients’ medical history will not be removed/deleted at any give time.
