Patient Time in Chair

The Patient Time in Chair feature is designed to give you quick access to the total amount of time a patient has spent in the dental chair over the past year.

This can be found in the Treatment section (see below) and is automatically calculated based on previous appointment status.

If the Appointment Status is updated regularly (eg. Arrived > In Clinic > Completed), the Patient Time in Chair will be automatically calculated based on these timestamps, this method provides the most accurate measurement of actual chair time.

If the Appointment Status is not updated regularly, the Patient Time in Chair value will be calculated based on the duration of the completed appointments to estimate the time spent in chair.

To access the last year's Time in Chair Summary, navigate to the Treatment section of the patient's chart, and select the Time in Chair Icon below your username, see below:

You will then be able to see the details of the patient's appointments for the last year, such as the Treatment, Fee, and the Date and Time the appointment was completed. See below:
